WIL : Weekly I Learned

 

Fact

 

It's been already two weeks since I started the data analysis course. This week, I learned about how to code in Python and practiced a lot.

Python was more challenging compared to SQL. I repeated a lot to get familiar with Python, and it seems I'll need even more practice in the future.

Especially while learning Python, I started to get confused with functions that are used similarly in SQL. For example, when using the if function, I got confused because Python and SQL have different ways of using it.

Feeling

It wasn't easy to get back into studying after a long break. However, I keep practicing and trying different approaches to write better code. Although I'm worried because it's still before the main lessons start, I'll work harder to succeed.

 

Finding

While continuously solving coding problems, I compare the way I solve them with how others do. Through this comparison, I learn more efficient methods and discover new things. Since I'm still at the basic level, I'll learn various ways to solve problems.

 

Future

When I work as a data analyst in the future, I definitely won't remember everything. However, I think understanding which code to use in a given situation will be very helpful in problem-solving. I believe practicing solving problems by utilizing rather than memorizing everything is essential. Of course, understanding and memorizing fundamental concepts is crucial.
